Financial Operations Specialist
Taylor Kauffman received a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies in 2013 and a Master of Public Administration in 2015, both from Brigham Young University. While an MPA student, he completed a Federal Government internship with the Government Accountability Office in Washington D.C.
After graduating with his MPA degree, Taylor worked for one year in the Utah Department of Commerce as a Securities Fraud Investigator, working with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to investigate and reduce securities fraud in the State of Utah. He then worked as an analyst for a municipal finance firm assisting with the issuance of municipal bonds for local Utah governments prior to joining the Governor's Office of Management and Budget.
Currently, his duties with GOMB include budget analysis for the Department of Agriculture and Food, the Department of Workforce Services, the Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, and the National Guard.
