Financial Operations Specialist
Richie was born and raised in Utah, spending most of his childhood in West Jordan and Bluffdale. After graduating from Utah Valley University with a degree in business management and social sciences, he moved to Washington, DC to pursue a PhD in Political Science at George Washington University, which he completed in 2014.
Shortly after moving back to Utah, Richie began working for GOMB as a financial operations specialist. Richie is the primary GOMB analyst for UDOT, the Department of Administrative Services, the Tax Commission, the Capitol Preservation Board and the Public Service Commission. He is the secondary analyst for the Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the Department of Workforce Services, the Building Board and the Bonding Commission.
He also works on tax policy issues and is part of GOMB's revenue tracking and forecasting team.
