Dr. Richie Wilcox

Richie was born and raised in Utah, spending most of his childhood in West Jordan and Bluffdale. After graduating from Utah Valley University with a degree in business management and social sciences, he moved to Washington, DC to pursue a PhD in political science at George Washington University, which he completed in 2014. His dissertation used econometric methods to estimate the impact of peacekeeping missions on post-civil war state repression. He also has a graduate certificate in applied economics from the University of North Dakota. 

Richie is a senior economist whose primary responsibilities include revenue forecasting, monitoring state revenues, analyzing and modeling tax policy changes, and economic analysis. He also serves as the budget and policy analyst for the Tax Commission.
