Planning

Utah boasts competitive tax rates, healthy budgetary reserves, a good education system, an envious economic climate, and world-class outdoor recreation. The state’s impressive increases in population, tourism, and economic growth over the years underscore the fact that Utah is an attractive place to live, work, and play. And there is no end to the growth in sight.

Maintaining and enhancing Utah’s quality of life and economic position in the face of significant growth pressures is one of the state’s greatest challenges. Policies, expectations, vision, and investments embraced today will set the stage for future prosperity.
