Peter Donner is an economist at the Governor's Office of Management and Budget, where he leads the technical analysis for the economic and revenue forecast used in developing the budget.
Since joining the Office in 1991, Peter has specialized in economic, demographic and fiscal model development and analysis. His expertise includes forecasting , model development, managing large datasets and applied policy analysis. He monitors current receipts to ensure the State of Utah's revenue collections are on target to meet budget. This includes managing a database with 5 million records of the State of Utah's daily revenue transactions.
Peter received a Master of Statistics and bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Utah. He has completed the coursework for a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.
